Gordian Quest is an epic RPG inspired by old-school classics like Ultima and Wizardry, using modern gaming concepts like deckbuilding and turn-based strategic combat. You will form parties of heroes whom you will lead and manage to overcome brutal missions. Help them forge bonds and discover new skills among heroes. Be fearless and unwavering as you work to unravel the curses laid upon the lands and defeat the ultimate evil at the heart of it all. 

Summary of Gordian Quest

Combat in Gordian Quest is a turn-based tactical affair – all units act according to their Initiative count, and have a store of resource called Ability Points (AP). AP can be spent by playing cards in a hero’s hand to achieve an effect. Cards have different costs, ranges, and purposes – and they are drawn from a deck that consist of both cards the hero learned innately, as well as cards granted by equipment.

The battle grid is split into two sides – yours on the left, and the enemy’s on the right.

You have freedom of movement on your side of the grid, and you must position your heroes in the optimum spots to maximize the effects of your cards, while avoiding what the enemy can dish out.
