Harvest, process, and sell fruit to upgrade your robot, raise your tier through reassembly, and obtain gears to become even stronger. More dangerous areas will have higher quality fruit.

Process and sell the harvested fruit
You can upgrade the robot using scrap
Reset some elements through reassembly to raise your tier and obtain gears
Permanent upgrades and equipment upgrades are possible through gears
Upgrade your robot to harvest more valuable fruit in increasingly contaminated areas
