Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Veiled Edge is expected to be in Early Access for roughly 12 months. We believe this period will allow us enough time to add the features and content we envision, while ensuring everything is fully polished.”How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?“Throughout Early Access, we plan to develop a gripping story spanning five chapters, along with a variety of mini-games and hacking elements. Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 are already being developed in classic platformer and hack-and-slash styles, respectively, while Chapter 3 will be taking shape as a Metroidvania-style experience, and Chapter 4 will be designed around puzzle mechanics. Each of these diverse chapters is being carefully crafted to ensure a cohesive and engaging experience.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current state of Veiled Edge contains the following:

Two playable chapters:
- A crime investigation set against a cyberpunk backdrop (classic platformer style)- A rescue mission set in an amusement park (hack-and-slash style)

- An engaging storyline that introduces the game’s universe, provides hints about the underlying mysteries, and sets the stage for thrilling adventures to come.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. Veiled Edge will be available at a lower price during Early Access. Once it leaves Early Access, the price will increase to better reflect the value of its new features and content.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Developing Veiled Edge alongside its community is exactly why we're doing Early Access in the first place. Your feedback, suggestions, and ideas will all play a vital role in how we shape and prioritize new updates and features.

We want the final version of Veiled Edge to be immersive and captivating, which means we’ll be focused on addressing any bugs that might disrupt your mission. We will also work on balancing the game to enhance the overall experience.
