Product Description

Record of Chaos is a roguelike deck-building card game based on Korean folklore and a traditional atmosphere.

Combat proceeds in turns, and you must predict the enemy's actions and respond by combining attack, defense, and skill cards within a limited amount of energy.

You can experience a different flow of battle every time through powerful but costly Chaos Cards, a purification system that transforms them into stable power, and Secret Techniques and the Great Man Log that can turn the tide of crisis.

Hwarang, the currently revealed character, is characterized by fast attacks and combat utilizing momentum. During battle, he builds and manages momentum, enabling him to unleash powerful attacks at decisive moments.

Along with somewhat familiar myths such as Dokkaebi, Jangseung, and Samjok-o, beings from folklore less familiar even in Korea, such as Gusamseung Halmang, Seolmundae Halmang, Jihaguk Daejeok, Seonangsin, and Daebyeolwang, appear as enemies and bosses, capturing the charm of a Korean-style deck-building game with bright Hanji and elegant visuals reminiscent of ink painting.

Producer's Comment

Record of Chaos is a project that started with the idea of creating a deep roguelike deck-building game using Korean themes.

We did not stop at simply giving it a Korean name; we also made an effort to incorporate as many Korean elements as possible into the game.

We have designed the game so that players can experience a Korean atmosphere and sentiment in various aspects they encounter, such as patterns, monsters, systems, fonts, and music.

As this is our first work, there may be some shortcomings, but we will continue to refine it until the end so that players can feel that “Korean-style deck-building games can be quite fun.”
