A. O2Jam: The Beginning is based on the mobile game O2Jam - Music & Game. Mobile and PC environments differ significantly, requiring technical and UX/UI optimization.
Based on player feedback from the early access test, we will continue to add and improve the game's fundamental elements, such as note syncing and judgment, as well as new elements to be added in the future.
As the development team adapts to the Stove platform, we will continue to improve the completeness of the Stove platform, including supporting specialized controllers unique to the Stove platform.
Q. How long is the Early Access period for this game?
A. The early access period is planned to last approximately six months. The development team will continue to improve the game until it deems it sufficiently optimized for the STOVE platform and PC environment. Gamers who participate in this process will receive discounts and various benefits.
Q. How is the official version different from the early access version?
A. O2Jam: The Beginning is mobile-centric. Therefore, we're focusing on improving the basic UI/UX for PC use and optimizing performance via keyboard rather than touch. Once this process is complete, we plan to continue providing the following features:
Continuous updates of exclusive songs just for music games
The lifeblood of music games is music. Since its inception, O2Jam has offered rhythm action songs spanning a wide range of genres and styles, rather than a single genre. Following this direction, we plan to continuously release new songs.
New gear system
Another joy in playing music is the variety of gear available. In addition to the gear provided in mobile games, including gear from past O2Jam Online and the much-loved O2Jam U, we plan to offer a gear system that enhances the enjoyment of playing.
New mode other than 7Key mode
We plan to offer premium songs with built-in key sounds and the 7-Key mode that was available in the existing PC version. Additionally, we plan to offer a PC-only performance style for the latest rhythm games or to provide new fun for users.
Various community-related features
We plan to strengthen the community function in the waiting room and song performance waiting room, where users of O2Jam or friends who like specific songs can build various relationships.
Avatar and character system
O2Jam Online's cute and colorful avatar system has been a huge hit. We plan to leverage related resources and concepts to provide new interpretations and developments in future official and updated versions.
GEM economic system
We plan to diversify the ways players can utilize the GEMs they earn while playing the game. By using GEM earned as rewards for purchasing special songs, merchandise, and other items, we aim to increase the motivation and enjoyment of the game.
Strengthening the ranking system
