※ I am the subject of the investigation
In this game, the subject of deduction is not someone else. The player's own statements and actions become the subject of investigation.
※ The Conflict Between Memory and Record
The facts I remember are not always the same as the records actually remaining on my phone. I must find traces in conversations, social media, and schedules and compare them directly with my own statements.
※ Evidence deduction by directly finding records
Personally examine messengers, social media, calendars, etc., and collect necessary records. You must determine which of the found evidence supports your statement and submit it to the investigator.
※ Responsibility is also a choice
Will you explain yourself? Will you pass the blame to a colleague? Or will you avoid answering?
Depending on the choices made, the interpretation of relationships and events, as well as the subsequent developments, change.
※ In the end, what you face is yourself
As the investigation continues, the protagonist comes to confront, through the records, the greed, cowardice, self-rationalization, and avoidance of responsibility that he had been hiding.

○ Story
Indie game company Seed Games grew rapidly thanks to the success of its flagship title, *Echo Protocol*.
Then one day, an employee from a fictional investigation agency, the Search Bureau, visits you, your co-business partner.
The subject of the investigation is the expensive sports car used by the company.
You must answer the investigator's questions and prove your statement. You must personally search through records remaining on your phone, such as messenger conversations, social media posts, and calendar events, to find evidence.
However, the more I check the records, the more a rift forms between the facts I remember and the actual facts.
And in that process, you come to face yourself trying to justify yourself, evade responsibility, and sometimes shift the blame onto someone else.
The records already exist. The problem is how you explain it.

○ Producer's Comment
Already Recorded: The Statement started with the idea of creating a game where the player does the deduction themselves, rather than a game where you guess who the culprit is.
Even when performing the same actions, people remember and explain them in a way that is advantageous to themselves. Rather than admitting their mistakes, they may fabricate excuses, evade responsibility, or pass the blame to others.
Then, what if the conversations, schedules, and posts from that moment remained exactly as they were?
In this game, players must personally select their own words and search through past records to prove them. In the process, they discover the discrepancy between what they said and the actions that actually remained.
The experience this game aims to provide is to make the player think, "Why did I make that choice?" at least once after completing their investigation.
