THANKS, LIGHT._DEMO

Every shape hides a truth beyond its appearance.
"THANKS, LIGHT." is a first-person puzzle adventure game where geometry, physics, and optical illusion collide.
Observe the world through light, manipulate dimensions, and uncover the true nature of what you see.

When light shines, dimensions awaken.
When illuminated, objects reveal their hidden 3D shape, gain weight and collision detection, and exist in the real world.
Simple squares unfold into steps, and thin silhouettes become giant pillars.
Solve puzzles that utilize spatial awareness, directional shifting, and hidden structures through this mechanic.
What matters is not what is seen, but what the light illuminates.

Make the space standstill.
When an object absorbs light, it loses volume and mass, becoming fixed in a flat, 2D state.
The rolling ball stops, and the blocking cube is able to pass through the gap.
This ability is key to a variety of puzzles, including controlling movement, stopping time, and navigating tight spaces.
Geometry with physics turned off — that's what this mechanic is.

Duplicate, resize, and combine.
This world is not fixed.
Duplicate objects through mirrors and resize them through lenses.
You can grow keys to open distant doors, and you can make shapes smaller to fit into holes.
It is also possible to combine two shapes into one to create entirely new functions.
As all these elements mix together, the puzzles become increasingly complex and require creative solutions.

A world designed for perfection… but something went wrong.
At first, it follows the structure of a perfectly planned system: orderly spaces designed by a manager.
But soon, something appears that doesn't belong in the system.
The puzzle becomes unstable and the structure slowly falls apart.
You're not simply solving puzzles; you're following a story about control, resistance, and existence.
Inspired by backrooms, brutalist architecture, and psychological tension, this world quietly reveals the truth.
And the truth is only visible when you pay attention.
