■ 종말 대응, 오아시스 연맹 탄생
전설의 모험도시에 히벨이라는 학자가 있었다. 어느 날 히벨은 숲속의 신비로운 제단 옆에 죽은 옛날 기생충을 발견하여 「심연 미생물」이라는 드문 물질을 추출해 냈다. 심연 미생물은 생명체의 유전자를 빠르게 진화시킬 뿐만 아니라 강력한 생명력을 가지고 있었다.
한편, 대기업의 회장 카르트는 죽은 딸을 되살리기 위해 엄청난 자금을 들여 「설산 바이오 연구소」를 세웠다. 히벨을 고용해 심연 미생물을 연구하여 몰래 인체 실험을 하게 했다.
그러나 실험할 때 예기치 못한 미생물 유출 사고가 발생하였고 연구진과 실험 대상자들은 모두 감염되었다. 곧 도시 전체로 확산되며 전세계가 위기에 빠졌고 인류는 급격히 줄었다.
살아남은 인류가 「오아시스 연맹」을 결성하고 기지를 세워 생존을 도모하기 시작했다. 높이 쌓아 올린 성벽은 인류의 마지막 방어선이 되었다.
■ 종족 연합, 세계를 구함
과학과 기술만 믿던 부자들은 자신의 육체를 기계로 무장해 「메카닉 종족」으로 거듭났고, 기지에서 절대적인 지배력을 행사한다. 착하고 정의를 추구한 「신인류」는 메카닉 종족에게 억압당하고 있다. 자원 부족으로 두 종족 간의 갈등은 날로 심화되었다.
숲속 깊은 곳에 숨어 살던 「수인족」은 또한 생존의 위협을 느꼈다. 자연의 조화를 지키기 위해 세상에 다시 나타나 함께 위기를 막기로 했다. 사악한 「진화종」은 성벽을 끊임없이 공격하며 연맹의 안전을 위협하고 있다.
이에 따라 오아시스 연맹은 법을 개정해 일부 수인족과 착한 진화종이 연맹에 합류할 수 있도록 허용했다. 진화종에 맞서는 강력한 전투력으로 받아들였다.
■ 유전자 수집, 진화의 위협에 맞서 싸움
히벨은 설산 바이오 연구소의 자금으로 설산의 폐기된 연구소를 피난소로 개조하였다. 강력한 미생물을 연구하기 위해서 유전자 샘플을 수집하고 있었다.
모험소녀 츠키타와 친구들은 오아시스 연맹의 명령을 받아 피난소를 조사하러 갔다. 그러나 적의 함정에 빠져 피난소에서 전투를 벌이기 시작했다.
그때 지휘관인 당신이 나타나 위기에 처한 츠키타를 구해냈다. 적을 물리치고 소녀들의 신뢰를 받은 당신은 피난소의 총지휘관으로 임명되었다. 이때부터 소녀들과 함께 유전자 샘플을 수집하며 오아시스 연맹에서 면역 바이러스 연구에 필요한 샘플 수량을 확보하는 중대한 임무를 맡았다.
지휘관이 합류한 순간부터 새로운 이야기가 시작되었다…
