Little Cast is an auto-fishing game where you can enjoy a small fishing mate displayed on your desktop. The mate continues fishing while you work or take a break. Occasionally, return to check out new creatures and see today's market prices.

Choose your favorite mate from Moru, Sora, and Dalkong. They will react when petted, and you can place them in a new spot by picking them up and moving them. The three basic mates come with five animations: waiting, biting, petting, picking up, and putting down.

You can create your own custom mates by importing PNGs, GIFs, PNG sequences, and sprite sheets that you have prepared yourself, organized by motion. Adjust the playback speed of each motion to check the preview, and import or export character ZIP files. You can adjust the position and size, and select different mates for each fishing spot.

Filling out a 300-species encyclopedia little by little

Encounter a variety of aquatic creatures, ranging from fish to crabs, clams, and octopuses. Newly caught creatures are recorded in the encyclopedia, and the discovery record remains even if you sell them. There is also the small fun of checking the length of your catch and the record for each species.

Should I sell it today, or wait a little longer?

Check the daily fluctuating market prices and sell your catch. In the encyclopedia, you can view prices recorded over the past four days. You can protect the catch you wish to keep one by one, and sell the catch you wish to sell individually or by setting a quantity.

Use the collected coins to prepare bait, upgrade your fishing rod, or open up to three fishing spots. Each bait has a different catch grade probability, and upgrading your fishing rod shortens the bite cycle.

Collect coin rewards by completing 52 in-game challenges. Adjust the position, size, and image resolution of your mate, and hide and bring them back when needed.

User Guide

Little Cast is a game for Windows desktop. Fishing only takes place while the app is running. Character customization uses files prepared by the user. Please check the permissions required for the images and animations used.
