Why do we do Early Access?

We are launching Early Access for *Slay the Demon* to complete the fun of fast-paced and exhilarating action together with our users. During the Early Access period, we intend to actively gather valuable feedback from actual players to fine-tune combat balance, progression, and controls. Furthermore, this is to ensure development continuity so that we can deliver the promised content with stability and a high level of polish by the official launch.

How long is the early access period for the game?

We are aiming for an official launch in December 2026 following approximately two months of intensive refinement. During the Early Access period, we plan to continuously release updates for new content and quality-of-life improvements at roughly two-week intervals, allowing you to transparently track the progress toward the official version.

How does the official version differ from the Early Access version?

In the official version, both volume and visual and auditory satisfaction are significantly expanded.

• Significant Expansion of Adventure Areas (Map): The number of areas will increase from 11 in the current Early Access version to a total of 27 in the official release. Completing the main route alone guarantees a minimum of 6 hours of playtime.

• Playable Character Addition: In addition to the two characters available in Early Access, characters with unique combat mechanics have been added, bringing the total number of supported characters to five. Additionally, each character's story will be added in the full version.

• Powerful Boss Monsters Appear: In addition to the current 5 types of bosses, the official version will feature a total of over 12 types of bosses with more diverse patterns.

• Artifact System Adding Build Diversity: Expanded from 54 artifacts in Early Access to over 80, allowing you to enjoy even deeper build combinations.

• Full Upgrade of Graphics and Sound Resources: During the Early Access period, major visual effects, BGM, and sound effect resources will be replaced sequentially to provide a more impactful sense of combat and higher production quality.

Is the game priced differently during and after Early Access?

Yes, the price will be adjusted. To reward Early Access players who participated in the early development stages and helped build the game together, it will be offered at a discounted price during the Early Access period. At the time of the official launch, the price is scheduled to increase to reflect the significantly expanded content volume and level of polish.

How do you plan to involve the community in the development process?

We plan to constantly monitor user feedback through the STOVE community and incorporate it into development. The development team will sincerely communicate regarding balance suggestions, bug reports, and system improvement ideas experienced during gameplay, and we will regularly share major updates and the future roadmap through patch notes.
